Agree, this thread should go to the forum on other teams.

That said, I watched the game and when the kicker missed that last FG, I screamed that he needs to be cut immediately! so, if the news is true, I will be happy!

Nice to see the Cowgirls not wasting anytime, no real surprise here though. Wonder who his replacement will be certainly not that kickoff specialist... Guess its only a matter of time before they choke the rest of the season away in true form

Looking at the video, it's awfully hard to tell for sure, but it looks like one of the Saints players might have gotten his hand to the ball just after Folk kicked it.

The scary thing is he was the Pro Bowl kicker for the NFC just two years ago.

LOL... I think I heard during the postgame that Jimmy Johnson once left a kicker behind after a game when he got cut. Wouldn't surprise me if Folk wasn't on the team charter.

I assumed that he AS was saying what will happen at the end of the season, not that Folk had actually been cut. i.e. Manning hasn't actually won MVP yet.

I don't get NFL Network so I didn't catch any of the game. I just checked the box score and Folk was 1/2 on FG and 3/3 on extra points. Why was he cut? I must surely be missing something.
