Re: OT: Thanks Raiders. Your draft pick is looking good

I hope the pick is top 5 so BB can trade it for 6 4th rounders.

Oh come on, lets not get ridiculous, BB is goint to trade a top 5 pick for 4 second round picks and then trade our first round pick for 2 more 2nd round picks, and soon enough we will own every pick in the second round!!!

Re: OT: Thanks Raiders. Your draft pick is looking good

The Raiders did not play badly. I watched part of it on ATDHE Stream and they actually moved the ball fairly well. They would have won had Janikowski not blown three field goals.

Their defense only gave up 17 points as one TD was on the opening kickoff.

Holy crapola, I got my 1,000 post today.

Yeah, Janikowski sucks. Who the hell misses a 58 yards field goal? What a loser.
Terrible playcalling.

So, let's see....

1 ~ Panthers 0-3 ~ 5-4 Strength of Schedule
1 ~ Browns 0-3 ~ 5-4 Strength of Schedule
3 ~ Lions 0-3 ~ 5-3 Strength of Schedule
4 ~ Beefaloes 0-3 ~ 7-2 Strength of Schedule
4 ~ Miners 0-3 ~ 7-2 Strength of Schedule
6 ~ Jaguars 1-2 ~ 4-5 Strength of Schedule
7 ~ Giants 1-2 ~ 4-5 Strength of Schedule
8 ~ Redskins 1-2 ~ 4-5 Strength of Schedule
9 ~ Rams 1-2 ~ 4-5 Strength of Schedule
10 ~ Vikings 1-2 ~ 4-4 Strength of Schedule
11 ~ Broncos 1-2 ~ 5-4 Strength of Schedule ~ 0-2 Divisional
12 ~ Raiders 1-2 ~ 5-4 Strength of Schedule ~ 0-1 Divisional
13 ~ Cowboys 1-2 ~ 5-3 Strength of Scheulde
14 ~ Chargers 1-2 ~ 6-3 Strength of Schedule

Correct me if I'm wrong, folks.

But it looks like we project to:

#12
#33 or 34
~ depending on the coin flip.

And that #12 has GREAT Upward Mobility!! :D

Man, it's crazy- not a huge shocker that the Raiders are pretty awful (although I'm ashamed to admit that I thought they'd be half-decent), but I did not see the Panthers sucking as badly as they've sucked. That could easily end up being a borderline-1st.

I think this will be a top 5 pick.

The Raiders are falling appart. First, their savior gets benched, and they almost lose with the Rams at home! And now, they lose against the worst starting qb in the league, in a devastating loss.

I agree 100%.

I've said all along that this was a likely Top 5 pick, with a shot at #1.

And their benching Campbell actually weakens my position. Systems take time.

Seems to me that there's a very real chance that the Panthers, Browns, Lions, Miners, Jaguars, Giants, RedSkins, Vikings, and Broncos will stumble ahead of them...

...And that the Raiders will end up fighting it out with Beefalo for #1!! :D

It IS, isn't it??

I must confess I did NOT think that the Panthers would be anywhere near this bad!!

Very glad for them to lose 1 out of AZ/St Louis. If one of SF/Seattle can beat them and they go 2-2 against that awful division and probably the easiest portion of their schedule, great for us. I am still concerned over how they looked the last 2 weeks, looks like they should have won this one. Like I said in the Gradkowski thread he makes them much better than JC and whatever other garbage the Raiders have at QB. As has been pointed out though, their schedule does get alot tougher. Hoping for 5-11 or worse.

Re: OT: Thanks Raiders. Your draft pick is looking good

Janikowski blows his third FG try as time runs out, his third miss, this one a gimmee from 31 yards out. Raiders lose, 24-23. Way to go Raiders. Keep on losin'.

2 minutes after the Raider just lost thread ... you post this ... epic fail again.

For MY money...??

I think the Raiders deliver us a Top 3!!

Re: OT: Thanks Raiders. Your draft pick is looking good

Yes, instead of fixing the weak link (secondary) of the our defense, lets add to our strength (Front 7).

We may not have the best pass rush in the league but our corners are a more serious concern.

WOW.

That post was truly AWFUL.

Thank you.

The wildcard is definitely Darren McFadden; I didn't see him coming, at all. He's been a stud so far, but if he slows down they'll become even worse. They're getting Michael Bush back next week, so hopefully that will screw up their mojo somehow.

Re: OT: Thanks Raiders. Your draft pick is looking good

* If the Pats get the #1 pick and and there's no cap, I fully expect that they'd pass on the pick until at least 2 other teams had made theirs.

* Without a cap, it's bound to happen one of these years...

*...but the Pats are one of the only organizations with the balls to do it.

Balls ON, Bro.

That was truly a GREAT POST.

Of course, it's fait accompli that there WILL be a Rookie Cap, but that's beside the point: I think you're dead right.

Apparently Braylon was waiting for his next arrest before he shaved his beard.

2011 Draft Pick for Patriots (top-5): Mark Ingram, RB.

Mark Ingram, RB.

Let's look at their schedule.....

Raiders 2010 schedule
Sun 9/12 at Tennessee (0-0) L 13 - 38
Sun 9/19 St. Louis (0-1) W 16 - 14
Sun 9/26 at Arizona (1-1) L 23 - 24
Sun 10/3 Houston 4:05 pm
Sun 10/10 San Diego 4:15 pm
Sun 10/17 at San Francisco 4:05 pm
Sun 10/24 at Denver 4:15 pm
Sun 10/31 Seattle 4:15 pm
Sun 11/7 Kansas City 4:15 pm
Bye
Sun 11/21 at Pittsburgh 1:00 pm
Sun 11/28 Miami 4:05 pm
Sun 12/5 at San Diego 4:05 pm
Sun 12/12 at Jacksonville 1:00 pm
Sun 12/19 Denver 4:15 pm
Sun 12/26 Indianapolis 4:05 pm
Sun 1/2 at Kansas City 1:00 pm

Which teams to they beat?
Maybe 1 again Denver.
Seattle?
I like the 49ers in SF.
A couple weeks ago, I would have said KC, but not the way KC is playing.
There is always an upset or 2.

I say Oakland is 4-12..... If they are lucky.

2011 Draft Pick for Patriots (top-5): Mark Ingram, RB.

Have you watched him much this year? He's not looking so great, IMO.

I wouldn't take a rb outside of AP or CJ2K in the top 5. I haven't looked at the top prospects all that much yet but I think the best LB in the draft and/or a stud defensive end are very possible (so is a trade back though!)

I don't think either of those two guys are coming out this year.

:p

In all honesty let's remember that Ingram missed some of summer camp and the first two games after knee surgery. No matter how minor, it will take time for a kid to come back from that. There is a long way to go before the draft and a lot will change between now and late April.

When's the last time they won two games in a row? They're a mess.
