Harrison came off back surgery relatively close to the season and his conditioning is not there.
Rice is killing the Steelers all by himself. Almost 80 yards in rushes and half that in receiving yards and it's not even halftime. They're throwing to him out of the backfield to beat the zone blitz and Steelers haven't adjusted to that or they just don't have a solution.
I know you are being sarcastic, but in a way it is the truth. The strength of that defense is their outside pass rush. If teams are getting into a shootout with Manning, it gives the Colts' defense an advantage. Now, opposing teams can run the ball much more (the Colts' defense's biggest weakness) and use the short passing game that can neutralize the pass rush.
Although I know this is true......How poorly can you build a team if thats the contingency the defense is built around?
And according to a poster or two here, Woodhead is better than Rice, so imagine how godly our offense will be...

Football Outsiders agrees. . . .
Rice: Rushing: 115 DYAR (13th), 0.8% DVOA (19th); Receiving: 120 DYAR (11th), 14.4% DVOA (21st)
Woodhead: Rushing: 185 DYAR, 41.3% DVOA; Receiving: 156 DYAR (5th), 56.3% DVOA (2nd)
I wonder how long it takes the Colts to sign Garrard?
Especially since the Colts' offense, even with Manning, isn't even one of the five most explosive in the NFL.
