Indianapolis Colts' Peyton Manning reportedly had 4th neck procedure in '11 - ESPN

Total number of neck surgeries > total number of SB rings (Eli + Peyton)

Why in the hell would polian(s)/irsay or whoever think he was going to play this year. The fact that he was never IR'd is crazy.

the bigger news in that article is that he will most likely need a 5th due to bone spurs.

    yikes

He's done. All this talk about where he will go is just wasted bandwidth. we have seen his last, unfortunately

Yup he's damaged goods. It sucks because I think we all have mad respect for the guy and who doesn't love to see him play (against other teams)? Any buzz around him is just silly. I expect he will do the right thing and throw it in but a competitor like that won't do it until it's 110%.

Have fun with that Dolphins! Seriously, I read boards for every team in the AFC east and dolphins fans are for the most part all aboard the manning train.

PR move. They knew since September he was out for the year.

That wasn't in this article- is there a source for that? If so, he's gotta be done.

If you remember they gave him $100 million contract AFTER the first surgery. I would say that their medical staff just set the team back about 3 years.
