"Write it how you want to write it," Porter said. "We will win on Sunday."

The "we will win" promise is a tactic the often-outspoken Porter used at times during his eight seasons as a lightning rod in Pittsburgh. For whatever reason, the Steelers usually responded.

Miami can only hope it works again, or the Dolphins will be 0-4 for the second time in four seasons.

"We don't feel like we're an 0-3 team," Porter said. "We've played better. We haven't played to where we need to be but we know what we have on this team. We lost some games where things just fell apart and on defense we're doing things different from what we planned on doing. We've kind of adapted to them instead of letting them adapt to us."

Wow. Talk about going out on a limb. They've got the Raiders at home. Should be a nail-biting barn-burner. I'm hanging by a thread awaiting the outcome.

Oakland runs the ball down their throat and wins 20-13 in a sleeper. 2 very bad teams. Have fun with Cam Can't-Win Dolphin fans.

HAHA! That just comes off as bitter to me. If he was a Patriot you would love that he said that.

Patriot players don't run there mouth like that. You're looking at 0-4. We're looking at 4-0. You guys lost to the NY Rats. I wanted you to win and your team let me down.

If you only win one game this year could you please try to make it NY? And I'm not talking about the Giants game.

If he were a Patriot I'd want him to shut up and make a few more tackles. He's got 9 in three games. Has he been hurt? Junior Seau has 15 tackles and he's 55 years old. Tedy Bruschi has 12 and he's a stroke victim.

What was Ted Ginn saying? :)

I think the Phish will win, Cam Cameron will call a time out when the Radiers kick the winning FG and then the Phish will block the real kick.

Just to clarify, the statement " For whatever reason the Steelers responded " was a statement made by the writer of the article.

Take the hate somewhere else please

It's sad too, because you generally make decent posts, so now I guess your just a trool, which is sad, you made good points up until now.

Take care, it was nice debating with you !! From now on, your just a hater to be ignored

Hey Aqua, "If a tree falls in the middle of the woods does it make a sound?".

Porter is whiling away his time on a team that will fight with Buffalo this year for meaninglessness.

This was a cry for attention and help on his part. I say "Let him fall".

but they have to look on the bright side...with the first pick in the 2008 draft, the Miami dolphins select...Brian Brome, QB, unless they screw that up too
