Just heard this around noon...nothing earth shattering..but it was mentioned that they felt the two most important stats in football were 1---give away takeaway differential and 2---3rd down conversion ratio.....They added that there were only 5 teams in the top ten in both...NE, Indy, Pitts, Dall and GB..and he claimed that tose stats pretty much shows who the better teams are..Seahawks were good at takeaways but were NOT with 3rd downs...amd the Jets were good with 3rd downs but not with turnovers.
