I bet that would be a cool deal for us. Say youve been with a 9 for a bit and things are cooling down. Why not trade down for a crazy 7 thats not possessive who lets you go find another 9 next year to also date. Now you got 2. Or at that point next year you can trade the 7 down for 2 6's and an 8 for the year after that. You wouldnt always have the sexiest chick but you'd be surrounded by very nice company for many years, lots of 9's and 8's and a bunch of crazy 7's.

We'd date the people we actually like rather than the most popular ones. And we wouldn't equate expensive nights out on the town with a good time. It is that simple.

I don't tend to date 6-10 people at the same time so i don't think this thread has any real merit, or was thought up with any intelligence.

    but thats just my opinion.

A better thread was if we bought groceries like BB does drafts.

Instead of going for that new type of fish your neighbors down south are raving about Bill goes for the bulk shrimp. a year later your friends have chronic illnesses and all their money goes into hospital bills, while bill continues to eat shrimp ****tails at his BBQ's that he has every other year with tbones

Ok you knock my idea about relationships without seeing the irony that your idea is centered around eating fish.

Is that where Belichick took Tebow before the draft a few years ago? Are you trying to trick somebody else into asking her out?

So we date someone who we think has true value but many other people don't see it...then after being in the relationship a small amount of time that 6 or 7 or whatever transforms to a 10...and sometimes a GOAT 15

If he's eating shrimp he bought a year ago, he'll probably be right there with them.

We would start with a 9. Trade her down to two 6 and a 1. We take a 6 and the one and that gives us an 8 next year and a 5 now. And next year we will date a 8 a 6 and a 5 :rocker:

Sometimes you just need to stick with quality over quantity. And who knows, what if one of the crazy 7's end up literally cutting you.

There are a few things I have learned from relating BB's draft to dating.

    1: Kiper's top rank
    is always a skank

    2: Everybody's binky
    is usually stinky

    3: Forget the stats
    check the snats

    4: If it hugs Goodell
    there's a lingering smell

I don't know what the hell your talking about but as George Carlin once said "I never been with a ten but one night I was with 5 twos and that aught to count for something."

Also, we wouldnt shy away from a 10 who no one else wants because shes totally insane. We would give her a shot and make it clear we would send her ass packing if she tried that nonsense here

In 1992, I took a flyer on a 6th rounder. A 7, maybe 8 back then. Certainly had the physical abilities but also had "the intangibles" that you just can't measure at a bar, party er..a combine.

The 6th rounder became the coach's best friend and her value to the organization cannot be measured in money.

In 1995, I signed her to a lifetime contract and over time has been a great mentor to 3 other "backup QBs" and is getting better and better at their position.:p

Exactly. Get one that has all the measurables (bust-waist-hip ratios, kind demeanor, ability to read recipes) but has minor drug issues or medical problems (amputation, fibromyalgia, herpes) that reduce her value.

This is kinda of a bad analogy. If you ask out a 10, she isn't likely she is going to turn into a 2 when you take her out. But a first round draft pick could end up playing like a seventh round pick. It happens in every draft to multiple first round picks.

I know there is a certain risk in dating woman whether they are smoking hot or plain or downright ugly. A 10 could end up being bat-crap crazy or way too high maintenance. But that risk isn't as likely as a first round draft pick being a bust.

All these schools are now coming out with studies showing second round picks are a far better gamble than first rounders. They are using hard evidence. Until I see similar studies that say dating a 6 or a 7 is a far better risk than dating a 9 or a 10, I am going to assume we are comparing apples and oranges.

BTW, sticking to the analogy, in my personal experience, the 10s are better date material than relationship material and woman who are 7s and 8s are better relationship material.

I find that 10s tend to be too high maintenance since everyone kisses up to them their whole lives and you can go crazy watching all the guys trying to hit on them. An 8 is still attractive, but do not live in this bubble where they think everyone in the world are their to tell them how wonderful they are and just give them things because they are beautiful. The 8s tend to have better personalities.

I think this analogy can be transfered to the draft. A lot of first round picks turn into busts because they don't put the effort in at the NFL level. They were the elite of the elite at every level up to that point and could thrive on their God-given talent alone. Unfortunately for them, the NFL is littered with guys who were the elite of the elite from Pop Warner all the way through college. That is why a lot of sure fire top 10 or even top 5 picks flame out.

On the flip side, the lower round picks know their opportunities at the NFL level are much less. The lower the draft pick, the fewer chances you will get. That is why you see a lot of later round picks and UDFAs play far above their talent level. They are willing to put all the extra work and listen to their coaches. That is why the Pats have hit with som many seventh rounders and UDFAs over the years.

Granted there are first rounders who work harder than anyone to be the best and late round picks who are just lazy. But we see my examples all the time.

That was a terrible analogy in the OP. :bricks:

As for BB, I doubt he needs any help with the draft or relationships lately.
