    ====================================

    Was working a while ago.

    Kid held a press conference in his HS gym during an assembly and announced he had decided between The Ducks and the Golden Bears, he chose Cal.

    Much applause and praise followed, then he was called on it. And it turned out he made the whole thing up.

    He actually ended up getting a football scholarship in the end.

    He was not what you call a top flight recruit, but he was a 280 pound 6'6" kid, and someone had use for him.

    The funny thing is, no one noticed him until this story. It's sad, but this actually ended up being self-promotion for him.
