Goodell has been in way over his head since he started.
The guy has a massive ego, thinks of himself as a sheriff, and applies inconsistent and harsh standards depending on the people involved.

This guy needs to go, he can't get kicked out fast enough.

Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, Goodell. If the meeting happened (and it allegedly did), then he and Vincent are both in trouble.

Looks like this might be another story that ESPN doesn't feel like reporting. It's front page news on SI.com, but nothing on ESPN.

That was what I thought at first also. But, if Roger was the incredible, upstanding citizen he expects everyone else in the league to be; wouldn't he have either A: said "No, Troy, that would be immoral and illegal and I refuse to meet with you" or B: Informed the authorities at once that he was contacted by Troy Vincent.

Seriously, I hope he burns for this. It will be a fitting end to his term.

One can only dream, but I would be ecstatically shocked if the Omissioner loses his job over this matter.

Has Goodell done anything right? He is a complete failure.

Calling it: Goodell is a bust, even by the lofty standards of the Chad Jackson crowd.

Excuse me for not joining the mob mentality yet but I don't think anything happens to Goodell. About the only way I see him being ousted is if he did something that openly cost the league big money(tens of millions of dollars) and even then it had to be a major rip off and media black eye to get enough votes to fire him.

The investigation is more on Vincent than Goodell, if anyone is to be in trouble with the law or face lawsuits it would be him and not Goodell.

He's also made of glass as well. However, when healthy, he has shown the ability to rush the passer as well as set the edge from the OLB position.
