That's a great post man.
I wish my old man was still around to see the Patriots now-he was a die hard since the beginning.

Lot's of peope like that. It was like that for me a little bit in 04 with the Sox. My Gramps, who turned me onto the Sox (and the Patriots) when I was a wee young lad. He never got to see either "win it all". He died in 1999. The first Pats win in 01' was big, but since he was such a huge sox fan, that one in 04' was more emotional for me. I'd be lying if I said I didn't shed a tear over it. He got to see a couple though, since he was born in 1915 :D

Now look at us, both for the Sox and Patriots are an embarassment of riches for all of us. Betcha there's a ton of similar stories out there. Thanks for sharing.
