I am not proud to share this. I have been pompous in some of my posts here so I understand this kind of honesty will leave myself open for nasty criticism, but I have no one to turn to on this matter.

While walking home from getting some eggnog for the family gathering, three males pushed me down, grabbed my bag containing the eggnog, two packs of cigarettes, and demanded my wallet.

I refused and was immediately backhanded, kicked in the groin then I was spit on. My wallet containing all my credit cards, home address, and over $800 cash were stolen. Not only that, my car keys and cell were also stolen and I was forced to walk over 2 miles in the pouring rain, and face the humiliation of explaining this in front of my entire family.

Luckily my vehicle was not stolen. I have decided against following a police report because I am too embarrassed and want this all to go away, the wife has recommended therapy and I have refused so I am sleeping on the couch and my kids think their dad is a big *****.

Get some baseball bats and some friends and cruise that same neighborhood for a few nights. Retards like that usually hit the same spots. Then when you see them beat the living shyt out of them. Trust me you will feel much better afterwards.

One question, why did you walk 2 miles to the store in the rain?

That story is pretty dumb and unbelievable. My guess is someone left themselves logged in at work or something and this thread is the result.

You're right. It doesn't make sense. He was supposedly walking home but only after being mugged did he apparently notice that it was raining and he was two miles from home. He's happy his car wasn't stolen but the guys have the keys and could come get it any time that's convenient for them - not to mention getting into the house. Yup - the real problem is the embarassment of reporting it to the police, not the risk to his property and family. Not to mention the potential for identity theft. Nobody can be that vain and foolish.

If they did not take my wallet with my ID, this may be an option but having a family I feel better off just changing the locks. I have a firearm in my home for protection but I am sure they will not bother me having already gotten their score.

As for your question, I'm not 2 miles from the store. I had to walk 2 miles to my in-laws where the gathering was, but since my pockets were raided which included cell, car & house keys, I had to walk. Wasn't about to ask a neighbor for help, could barely stomach telling my own family.

I am glad you feel that way, I went against every ounce of self privacy I had in sharing this, the least you could do is withhold your comments and have some compassion on Christmas. I hope you never have to endure anything like this.

Should I have asked for my cell back so I could phone a cab? Or should I have embarrassed myself even more by asking someone for help? I am not going to argue with I'm already stressed enough, thanks for the support bud.

    #61 Jersey

Here's the deal: Report this to the police. get it on record. Since you lost your credit cards and ID, the only thing that will help you stave off charges and ID theft by these bastards is to get it down on paper at the police station. Otherwise, it's simply your word to the credit card companies that your cards were stolen.

I trying to figure out the punchline to the joke, and failing.

I feel better seeing that the OP couldn't think of one either.

if you dont have the nuts to file a police report, what good is that firearm going to do you? you sure dont dare to use it... and, if the "perps" are reading this board, they have your address and now they know you are gonna rollover like a fidelity ira anytime anyways... get a life loser.

but thanks for sharing your heartfelt embarrassment in your 40th post on a patriots messageboard

you're so stupid, they are probably gonna come to your house and ask for your tv, which you will hand them, and thank them for not taking your insured car... so you ain't gonna see the game anyways, unless, of course, you walk 3 miles in the snow to a bar, and ask people if they are gonna finish that beer? since your $800 life savings is gone... just take the "firearm" you have, and do the world a favor.
ps. what kind of firearm is it?
