    anybody remember him?

he was a defensive lineman who played for the bears in the 90's and was always billed as having the body of a greek god, but didn't really produce much.

here's a little background from his wiki, then I'll type up this old story I just found in a drawer:

ok, so that turned out to be a little more than I had planned, but I just couldn't leave any of that stuff out.
anyway, I was cleaning out some drawers and happened upon this old story I had clipped from the paper, which I thought was kind of funny:

Bipolar disorder is a horrible thing that many families deal with. It's tragic. But thanks for sharing the "funny."

    This illness rips family's apart.

The guy literally has no control over his behavior or what he's saying.

Not to mention he did try to commit suicide.

When Curtis Martin ran 70 yards for a TD vs. the Bears in '97, it was Spellman who came real close to chasing him down from behind. Not a CB. Not a safety. Not a LB. A DL-man. The guy was a freak of nature. It's sad what his life became.

    Regards,
    Chris

    Having it sucks...

but, the meds that they give you, just makes it worse.

    Alcohol doesn't help either.
