Just curious!

Never played in a league, but I do have some shared experience with #12, apparently...

great idea for a thread/poll. Lets me reminisce about playing in high school and high school in general, good times.

I played HS football in a school so small that if I hadn't played they wouldn't have been able to field a team and I still sat on the bench. :D

Our graduating class size average was about 19 students.

So if you count that I played in HS.

Played from age 10 through college.

Played pee-wee football in 4th grade. Was a 3rd string safety. Saw the field only a few plays at a time. I've always been tiny and bad at being in the right place.

Football is the only sport I've not played myself that I'm interested in watching -- and now it's the one I care about most. No idea what that shows -- if anything.

I played lot of special teams gunner, etc and some safety in HS.

Once in a while I'd line up in practice as "receiver" against our corners... I loved outjuking and getting open against those guys which was more often than not. :D Never did try becoming a receiver though.

If I recall correctly he tried out for the Pats, and played in the old Eastern Football League, a pretty good semi-pro league back in the 60s-70s. He has also been a high school coach.

My Swiss cheese memory says "Colts" -- but he'll let us know, I'm sure.

I had a College scholarship offer but blew my ACL. Went to university in the UK were I played then semi pro in Germany and pro in Norway. Also played in international tournament but that was a lower standard.

Injuries have meant I have gone back to amateur now. I have coached at a high school, British university and a British All star team.

Aha! That explains the apparent Small Man's Complex. ;)

Played through high school but a back injury ended the ride. Then went on to coach high school football for about 12 years.
