Cue the "do you think the Pats could squeeze room on the cap to pick him up?" type posts.

    #24 Jersey

I dont see any scenario that the Bengals trade Johnson for anything less than a first if they do intend on trading him.

Aww come on, you mean they won't take a 6th and a jug of gatorade, so we can make up psuedo-realistic posts tabulating spots on the draft chart, purporting to read their FO's minds, assuming they will deal in such a way to make our dreams come true?

A FIRST? Who do they think he is, Deion Branch ;)

You think so? Huh. That would be pretty interesting. I think the Eagles would be a wild card team at least with McNabb throwing to Ocho.

    Maybe Ocho for Sheppard?

There were rumors flying at the owners meeting that the Eagles were willing to offer Lito for Ocho.

While Reid was able to successfully shoot down all the McNabb-trade talk, he couldn't exactly shoot down the Ocho/Lito trade talks on the contrary.

I believe word from the owners' meeting was that Jerry was "interested in a veteran WR"(rumors has it he's also been heavily interested in Anquon Boldin(sp) and "the other" Roy Williams as well).

BTW-"the other" Roy Williams made some interesting comments about Dallas recently. In his words, he said something like-"I'm willing to play along side TO".

Picture Ocho Cinco and TO in the same locker room. The stadium might explode with all the ego.

Roy Williams lined up across from T.O.? That's a scary thought not only for the NFC, but for the NFL.

I have always liked Johnson, but his lastest stunts are wearing on me. I always thought his trash talking and celebrations were more playful than pompous or mean spirited. But I hate whenever a player shoots his way out of town like this.

I do agree that Johnson to Philly makes the most sense. The Eagles are hot for a receiver. But I don't know if Shepard will be the trade though. The Eagles might give up a draft pick and use Shepard to get that pick back. Although the Bengals can use Shepard, they need to fill some holes on offense too. CB isn't their biggest priority and may more want a draft pick in trade.
