It's easy, and only takes a few moments. In a case reminiscent of the New England Patriots' Spygate scandal of 2007-08, the Denver Broncos have fallen under the microscope of the NFL for possible impermissible videotaping of an opponent, The Denver Post has reported.
Unfortunately this will all come back to the pats because we won titles. We get to hear things like "how many titles have they won since spygate?!" as if no titles in 3 years since spygate is a long time especially considering Brady missed one year, we've turned over the whole D, and if not for the refs and samuel we go 19-0. The broncos doing this isnt the sexy story, the former pats employee doing it is.
I get the feeling if this is true it will mark the end of McDaniels's tenure in Denver.
Ahh, but to them, it is us.Jeez and my first thought was I bet this goes away quickly because it's not us.
100% correct. Just going to have to live through it. It's difficult to believe that anyone would be stupid enough to go anywhere near this again, but evidently those in Denver who are responsible are that stupid. For anyone doubting how the media will spin this into a Patriots scandal mongering - - just Google this story and read the 406 articles posted in the last hour calling it "Spygate II" and referencing the New England Patriots within the first sentence.
It is what it is, folks. Anyone NOT believing this is what the media will do for the next 9 days is either fooling themselves or is ignorant of how the national sports media works.
Save yourselves the aggravation and just accept that this is the background noise we will be hearing until the kickoff.
and it's gonna really come back at us when we look into hiring him in 2011.I get the feeling if this is true it will mark the end of McDaniels's tenure in Denver.
Is there ever a quiet time for the Pats?
bull****bull****bull****bull****bull****mcdaniels and the team were each fined $50k for illegally taping the practice.
What?!?
Added: "team video director steve scarnecchia took the video and presented it that day to head coach josh mcdaniels, who declined to view it but was fined for failure to immediately report the incident."
Update: Broncos,McDaniels fined 50000 by league
NEITHER of the two posters who wrote about the 50k fines gave a link or source.
Until there is a real source attributed, there's nothing to it.
