This is the scenario. Assuming the Ravens maintain their lead against Oakland, and that it's true that Patriots play Ravens no matter what in that case, then this is the scenario for the last remaining Wild Card Spot. Discuss!

If Bengals beat the Jets:

Bengals are #3 and play the Texans, at #6.
Patriots at #4 play the Ravens at #5.

If Bengals lose to the Jets:

Bengals are #4 and play the Jets again, at #5.
Patriots at #3 play the Ravens at #6.

I smell another game tossing here...

If I'm the Bengals, I don't play anyone. I think that they would much rather see the Jets again than the Texans. Granted Houston does not have that good of a defense, but the Jets are putrid on offense, and Dirty Sanchez is a turnover machine......

What a position to be in. They can choose who they play in the next round. Interesting.

So...

the Jets are definitely in?

The game just decides seeding?

No it does not

yeah I realized that right after I posted

I'm just confused. I've been walking around in a daze sends I saw Welker make his knee do things it shouldn't

:(

I hope the Texans get in

A) I hate the Jets

B) The Texans are a likeable team

C) I hate the Jets

Kinda. If they wanted to lose they certainly could, but you can't really will yourself to win just like that.

The Ravens have clinched the no.5 seed so the Pats will only play the Ravens if the Bengals win tonight. The Bengals would play the Ravens if they lose to the Jets and we would get kick the Sanchize back to NJ.

The Bengals should be hyper-motivated: Win and they play Texans, lose and they play the Ravens. Easy choice.
