:D In keeping withthe current wave of 'vs" threads.

Which of these guys are worst.

When you hear one of their song in an elevator, in a shop, or an old folks home, which one makes you want to stuff toilet paper in your ears?

Hey Buddy, I'm a huge Manilow fan. Great voice, great entertainer. Barry rules (seriously).

The most recent time I saw Barry in concert, Donna Summer was his special guest for a duet . . .

Yeah Barry is a great performer with some really catchy tunes who has been entertaining for several decades now. Michael Bolton was just an annoying crooner that came and went like a flash in the pan.

Keeping within the football criteria. I would like to see Barry Manilow practice with the Patriots as a receiver and have Harrison greet him.

Never mind toilet paper, how about the barrels of a couple 357 Magnums. Ok, a little strong. A couple of 22's.

Definitely Manilow. Say what you will, but the guy is extremely talented. Bolton (to quote the great "Office Space") is a "no talent assclown". :)

    I picked Bolton.......
I actually got a chance to see Manilow at the Garden a few years ago...my step daughter was in show choir and her teacher was good friends with one of his dancers (A choreographer)...so we had 2 boxes there...20 parents..20 teens...I have NOT been a Manilow fan at all..but I must make a few observations...
1---The songs and show were really good..including a great accapella WIlliam Tell overture...
2---The sound was superb..being able to hear all instruments clear and loud..
3---The show wasn't overly long, but well paced...NOT bad for someone who usually hates mainstream things...
4--The whole entourage situation ala Elvis was a bit overblown..I mean who really sees Manilow like that bit a lot of women in their 40s..and would they ever mob him ala the Beatles?? I think more for show...
5--the woman from the audience NOT a plant sang a great duet with him!!
6---There is one image I had from that show which was truely amazing...
There in the round was Manilow singing..the lights were up so that one could see the throng of fans all around him..and the stage was bare..no instruments no nothing but Manilow singing..WOW!! I wish I had a camera..it was a surreal scene..
7---We were all supposed to meet Manilow afterwords and marched down to the floor after..my wife is a huge Barry fan.....
8---we waited around,,and then this guy in an Army type jacket..sort of looking like part thug-partin charge guy came in and said only a few words to
my daughter's teacher.."Barry just wants to see kids"...That is all he said..he did not explain at all..but just turned and walked away. I laughed LOL..laughed..as the teach explained it to the parents.
9---We waited and were shunted around in the bowels waiting for the teens...
10---What was interesting was that smoking which is NEVER allowed in the Garden is totally ignored by the technicians who move things and break them down..who have butts all at the ready...
11---Within an hour after the show, it seems like all almost is packed and gone..QUITE interesting!! VERY fun to see all being moved...
12--The teens finally saw him...he was a bit tipsy..unprofessional and..I will say no more..than I will always think of those words..."Barry just wants to see kids" whenever I hear a Barry Manilow song.

It's the sign of true manhood when you can admit to liking Barry publicly.

Why did you vote that Manilow is worst than Bolton, if you are such a big fan.

I think for me a better poll question would be: would you rather be tortured or listen to any of the 2?
I'm not sure which I would pick. As far as I am concerned they are one and the same.

You guys are sick. "Weekend in New England" is, perhaps, my favorite song ever - and not because I like the Patriots.
