If he got his wish and went to the Dolphins it would be a waste of his talents

I know Arizona is nothing special but at least they have a legitamate shot of winning their division - Miami has a legitimate shot of the #1 draft pick

Of all the teams,Why the Dolphins Anquan? Why?

Boldin wanting to be traded to Miami is like a guy pumping gas while lighting up a cigarette - they are both Dangerous moves

Boldin was born in Palm Beach County, Florida. The nearest NFL team to his hometown is the Dolphins. He also attended college in Florida (Florida State). He could go to the Dolphins, get paid as a #1 NFL WR, play for a team that should improve considerably over the next few seasons if Parcells track record continues to hold true, and he would be able to do so while living close to home.

...with no state income taxes.

He grew up less than 100 miles from Dolphin stadium.

So odds are he growing up he had a Dan Marino poster hanging on his bedroom wall. He may have owned a Dolphin lunch box when he was in elementary school.

His family lives in Florida. So does most of his friends.

Do you know anybody who ever tried to transfer within a company or changed jobs so they could be closer to their family? Maybe even took a job with less money? Or turned down a huge promotion because it meant moving away?

I know plenty.

Why are we always so shocked when a football players first priority is to be close to his family instead of more money or a shot at a ring?

He's a very good player. Well put by the way.

He has played in Arizona the last few years. Is there that big of a difference?

The funny thing is, in other walks of life we shower respect one the guy who "has his priorities in order," putting family happiness above personal glory. But in football we scoff at him.

Besides, since when is Arizona "a shot at a ring"? :)
