I know it's sacriledge to link to a Peter King story, but the first two pages of his MMQB this week are devoted to the behind-the-scenes stuff regarding Vinny's signing with Carolina (and almost-signing with Arizona). I thought the whole story was fascinating, especially the part about showing up for Wednesday's practice late and start by running plays without introducing himself to teammates.

Thanks chris. A great read, worth clicking on the hated King's site.

I agree. Putting aside the weird Spygate obsession, Peter King has almost unrivaled contacts and can WRITE.

I won't read the article (cuz King is a d!ck) but I surely am happy for Vinny. Glad he caught on. btw, that Bomb to smith was pretty sweet.

I'm sure the playbook consisted of - "Vinny, look for #89 and throw it to him, he'll be open".
