Yes, this is a pretty well-known story but it is a good story and shows BB at his very best.
A lot of people think that they have to tell others about how great they are (it's astonishing how often you meet this, even in successful people) and so they end up doing all of the talking and none of the listening.
BB is a great football coach, of course, and knows how good he is, but he will take ideas from anyone, Jimmy Johnson, Urban Meyer or some unknown guy from Kent State who gets in touch to ask him about football (now our DC, Dean Pees).
It's a great (and, as I say, not so common) character trait.
