OPPOSING VIEWS: Stafford Not Afraid of Patriots Defense
By: Ian Logue

While putting together this morning's Patriots links, I came accross these stories out of Detroit on how they're viewing tonight's game....

I was full of homer rage before i read the article. The title of the thread is a bit misleading.

Nobody disses the Patriots!

this ^

anyone who would want their qb to be afraid of an opposing D, is a moron

Re: OPPOSING VIEWS: Strafford Not Afraid of Patriots Defense

It's "Stafford," not Strafford. You misspelled it in the title and in the article.

Yeah, I got an e-mail from someone on that. I can spell Koutouvides, but apparently can't spell that one

going through the articles, I came across one on Alphonso Smith and how he realized he made a mistake by trash talking to Brady. I then had to relive the experience via youtube and came across a forgotten gem: BJGE trucking over him at the goal line as the first half came to an end.

I put it down to youthful exuberance. Honestly, I don't expect him to be afraid. That still doesn't mean he won't be sore for a day or three after the game (it's free education, courtesy of the NEP.)

judging by that 1st drive, he certainly wasn't afraid of NE's defense

good pressure by detroit

i tell ya, if stafford works out, and detroit keeps drafting well......they're going to be a damn good team

he's definitely not scared

He did pay…paid our D like a two-bit whore for half a night's work.

12/14 200 yards 2 Td....

Yeah...he wasn't scared.

I don't think it had much to do with him. I mean the third strings guys looked like Manning out there.
