The truth ? Her honest opinion maybe but clearly it's not the truth yet. Obviously, though, Obama is the prohibitive favorite.

You're right it is the truth. The truth about MSNBC. worked as daily CBS Radio commentary writer for anchorman Dan Rather at CBS News, whom she once called "the best boss I ever had." That's pretty much all you need to know about Peggy Noonan.

It's ridiculous to say that now. She's energized the base, which isn't enough, but let's see where things go before being so judgemental; she hasn't even made her acceptance speech yet.

I want McCain to win as much as anyone but with the anti Republican feel right now and the absolute fawning given to Obama by the media he's a fairly strong favorite now I believe.

Thankfully the racists here are dying out. Slowly, but surely. Obama is the favorite if you are paying attention.

He is clearly the better candidate and America doesn't want 12 straight years of the worn out Republican Party. If he loses it is because of racism. It would be really sad if that happened.

    - He is NOT clearly the better candidate. Maybe to some, not all. Not me.

    - America also doesn't like one party rule, they like split governement.

    - To say if he loses it's because of racism is ridiculous. Especially with blacks voting 95% for Obama. There's a LOT of Conservatives in this country. Sorry.

his plan for energy conservation, jobs, international diplomacy, healthcare are all leading for the fututre...not rehashing old $h!t that has only been a theory and not proven to work until we had one party executive and legislative branches....

Americans might love split government, but we've had our little run with the comassionate-neo-conservatives. We have now seen what happens when they are allowed to run amuk in washington.

    Debt
    War
    housing crisis
    deregulation
    cronies
    party first justice system
    terrorist attacks
    invasions
    surveilance
    torture

The Republicans have done this to themselves......

They will have to look no further than the mirror in November.

There's also a lot of ignorant old racists. These people overwhemingly are "conservatives". If Obama loses (which I don't think he will, I have confidence that the good side of America will prevail), I will take solace that my generation is not racist and it supports Democrats 65%-35%.

Well, we just disagree on most of those . . . fine . . . but that doesn't make those who disagree with him racist. What a loser argument (not you HD, I don't think you used that word) it is that you're racist if you vote for McCain.

Younger voters almost always are more Liberal. It's not a race issue. It's a maturity issue :)
