You and I will have to agree to disagree on your contention that he has been less productive than Wilhite, Butler, Ninkovich, Springs, Sanders, Mayo and Woods through the first six games of this season. You may have been watching a different six games.
As long as you don't count McGowan, Meriweather, Butler, Wilhite, Bodden, Mayo, Guyton, WIlfork, Warren, Green, Wright and Pryor, I guess you could say he has been almost as productive and Thomas, Woods, Ninkovich, Springs and Sanders.
He is more productive than Burgess and Lockett, though.
I was super pleased when we got TBC for a 7th round pick, but he has NEVER been one of our most productive players. I love his pass rush when it works, but it doesn't work all that often and he cannot set the edge and he is ineffective against the run.
But except for all that, sure, he is our most productive defensive player.
