That's why I've said that while this might be a redemption game for the above 7 players, for the vast bulk of the team 2007 means nothing. The only group in need of redemption here are the FANS.

So for the next 2 weeks it will be the FANS who will have to endure the repeated images of a very painful event, in order to get any payback. For the other 46 guys 2007 will have as much meaning as 1995 or 1985....or any other Patriot loss of the last 50 years

BOTTOM LINE - 2007 is nothing more than a media driven story line and potential shot of catharsis for Pats fans

1. Most of that returning talent is on offense.
2. The talent that has been added on offense in the interim (Gronk/Waters/Hernandez/et al.) rivals the talent that has been added on defense.
