    Funny how he forgets to mention Clarke was a democrat canidate for president, I guess Dean left that that out of Odermann's talking points.

    I guess it is cool that Odermann, rips modern day troops all the time? **** that queer and his boyfriend Jonathan Alter.

    Worked just fine for me. Keith seemed to start channeling crazy eyes Caldwell just a bit at the end.

    With his ever-declining ratings and Olberman's relentless attacks, I'd say the bloom is coming off that Irish rose.

    My referring to O'Reily as a bloomless rose is allegorical in nature and can't really be disproven, or proven for that matter; but hell, link up where RW established that O'Reily isn't a wilted rose or even a flower at all. I'm always willing to re-consider my thinking.

    O' Reilly is a complete tool.

    Olbermann has really gotten tiresome lately.

    Is Walter Cronkite still alive?

    No he didn't. He just showed that O'Pervert is still number one in cable despite a huge decline from the past few years.

    Which basically confirms the vast majority of O'Pervert's audience are old codgers. They're dying out.

    O'Reilly is what he is, but Odorman is obsessed with BO, and the ratings are the reason why. Odorman is a moron of monumental porportions. IMO anyway. Afterall, he was NEM's hero, so that should tell you all you need to know. :D Seriously though, I've never seen one show host constantly obsess in his show about the guy who's mopping the floor with him. like Odorman does. Maybe Odorman should look in the mirror when trying to figure out why his ratings are so bad.

    I watch Hardball almost everyday, and I've tried to watch Odorman a few times, but I can't take him. He's waaaay off the deep end.

    Sorry Sey, but he hasn't had a decline, he's had an increase. Look at the pdf figures. I explained them in detail. From feb '06 to feb '07 he's increased his viewership by over 300,000 to 3.019 million. Odorman's percentage increase is higher, but his viewership was so low which is why.

    Here's my post from the other thread. Go to the pdf if you want to see the actual numbers for yourself.

    http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/showthread.php?t=53444&page=3

    yesterday

    I was curious about what you said, so I Googled "OReilly ratings", and heres what I found.

    http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/.../feb07vs06.pdf

    You need to stay off those propoganda websites. His viewship has increased 11%, and 17% respectively, in the two age demographics provided (2+, & 25-54), from Feb '06, to Feb '07. Numbers can be manipulated in a number of different ways to sensationalize a position, or to sell mentally challenged souls of something other than their true numerical meaning.

    For example:

    The O'Reilly Fracture: Ratings Bad To The Bone

    by News Corpse
    Thu Mar 01, 2007 at 12:32:10 PM EST

    Bill O'Reilly just got some more bad news (pdf). His hairline isn't the only thing that's receding. The February ratings show that he has the slowest growing program (11%) of all the cable news primetime programs in the 25-54 demographic. And he is clearly bringing down the Fox network because the same is true for their whole primetime block. This despite the fact that Greta Van Susteren had the 2nd highest growth (49%) after Keith Olbermann's Countdown (61%).

    http://scoop.epluribusmedia.org/stor.../28/144633/184

    This article provided the pdf too.

    So O'Reilly's ratings are bad to the bone because he increased his viewership over the previous year? That's ridiculous. Furthermore, the Factor increased to 3.019 million viewers in Feb '07, versus Countdowns 975,000. More than 3 to 1 ratio. Such a discrepancy in total viewers will skew the actual value of each shows "percentages". It's why people need to do their own research when reading numbers provided in the news.

    It is an increase, here are the figures from the link I provided. The figures are provided by the same website, mediabistro, but are far easier to read. Check them out.

    Article:

    http://scoop.epluribusmedia.org/story/2007/2/28/144633/184

    pdf figures:

    http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/original/feb07vs06.pdf

    You need to take the figures from both age groups and add them together for '06, and then compare them to the combined figures of '07

    Feb 2006 -> 2235 + 458 = 2693 or 2.693 million

    Feb 2007 -> 2482 + 537 = 3019 or 3.019 million

    He increased 11%, and 17% respectively in each bracket from 2006, to 2007, and he increased by well over 300,000 viewers in that years time.

    Now, run Olbermans:

    Feb 2006 -> 400 + 163 = 563

    Feb 2007 -> 713 + 262 = 975

    Olberman has increased his viewership by 78%, & 61% respectively, and by well over 400,000 viewers. Now, by percentage alone, that looks wild, but by numbers, he's still under 1 million, while BO has gone over 3 million. Furthermore, he's only added 100k more than BO has in that 1 year span.

    Numbers can be manipulated to look like a lot of things, which is why I always like to point out what they truly represent, regardless of my POV. Now, not only can numbers be manipulated, but so can quotes, news, and votes.

    Ok, you're adding the 11 P.M. re-run to give him a boost, and I must admit I was not aware of his little resurgence. But my numbers show he's lost viewers since 2005, like it or not. So it's up for people to decide who's numbers they like more.
