well, of course there's more to it, as it undoubtedly stems from his suspension a couple months ago. ... to MSNBC, the PR-neutral path to take was to unsuspend him (for something Fox pundits do as a pre-requisite to being hired) and let his contract expire.

there's no place on corporate "news" channels for anti-establishment, anti-fascist voices like Keith Olbermann's. His format grew tiring 2 years ago anyway.

More investigative journalism, less editorial commentary.

I'd love to see him on Fox. Oh, the fun.

Odorman is one of those people who likes the sound of his own voice.

Probably applies to most people on TV or movies, don't you think?

I did like the SNL spoof a few years back where Affleck played Olbermann.

Now that would be an interesting show. Needless to say I'd consider tuning in, even though I don't like to tune into either one right now.

I doubt there's much more to it than the fact that if you put politics aside, the man is simply a total arsehole who reportedly gets on the bad side of his superiors pretty frequently. I'm not talking about one incident with one boss, I talking about multiple stories of him pissing off one executive after another from Bristol CT to Rockefeller Center over the past 15 years or so.

Fact is when you're a talentless hack getting slaughtered in your timeslot, you can only tell your bosses to go to hell so many times before they've had enough.

The latest news says "he wanted more money"
The ass hole should have been paying them for letting him work there.

I can't watch just Hannity anymore, I used to like Hannity and Colmes.

Maybe they should have a pay per view where Olbermann and Glenn Beck fight to the death.

I never like Hannity, period. Colmes always reminds me of someone who looks like he's been dying for years.

Hannity is so arrogant and I can't stand the way he acts like he's the ultimate American or is able to judge who the "right kind of American" is...

    Total loser...

The guy always spoke like he thought of himself as an "Intellectual" when the fact is, he never was. He acted as if he was trying "to teach" the people of America something that we didn't know.

Strangely, he's a lot like Hannity & Beck. All of them think they know something the rest of don't and see themselves as leaders and teachers.

Well, at least one of them has found out it is them who was just taught a lesson...now if we just get rid of the other 2 guys...
