Has not at all improved over last seaon's atrocious playoffs. Last week it just seemed to suck in general, and this week saw more incompetency, ie a couple terrible spots and an absurd pass interference call against Hobbs.

And I'm sick of the direction of the rules, most notably the new "no hitting the QB below the knees" business. You can't hit the QBs below the knees, can't hit them above the shoulders, can't hit them unless they just got rid of the ball, it's absurd back there. Why don't they just play two-hand touch or flag football. Yes, I know Carson Palmer got a brutal injury, and yes that sucks, but this is football. The game is getting so soft.

Don't get me started on the no taunting call that was called on Seau in preseason either...
