it really looks like the seattle defesne is taking it to Pitts offense as much as Pitts De wants to think it does.
a lot like the start to the pats-panthers game. delhomme was horrible early and pats missed so many chances to score open the game.

Looking real good for the Hawks secondary so far.
Go Hawks

Wow, these refs are doing their best to give Bettis what he wants.

That's a poor call

Refs are killing the HAwks so far

still no bettis after all the the hype this week.

Been a whole quarter and I havent seen a stat sheet yet.

I think they dont want to show how dominating the hawks are so far.

Squeelers have like -5 yards so far.

'They could have ruled that a fumble' - al michaels.

No Al, that was a fumble. the refs blew that call.

He made a football move with possession.

0 first downs for the Steelers in the 1st quarter.

Thought Dion looked good in his suit, and yeah someone will pass his stats.

Thought Tom looked cool in his retro velvet jacket, and I don't think he looked uncomfortable or embarrassed. In fact I think he enjoyed being booed by the Squealer fans. I like how he stood on the side near the Seahawks and not on the Steeler side of the little huddle for the coin toss.

Think the refs have shown they are leaning towards stupidity - or trying to get the result they are supposed to. Would love to hear the meetings the officials have when they talk about points of emphasis - bet they make it clear who the bad guys are, and who they are supposed to flag.

Glad the Seahawks are ahead, but hope they put up more points.

Like the commercials so far, very funny, except the Burger King one which was just odd.

Actually, I read somewhere that after the Pats did it, the NFL decided to do away with the individual intros.
Really? I didn't know that....and it makes sense. It would be cringe-worthy to have to sit through those announcements again...especially knowing that the team who did it is basically sending the message "We are showboaters and love it!"

THIS is Pitt's first first down? Wow, I haven't really been paying too much attention, but it has seemed as though Seattle always has the ball.

A sign that this Super Bowl is pretty boring:

I've played 16 games of solitare already on my computer.

A second sign: I keep switching over to the Puppy Bowl.

And the Cheeseburger returns to last year's AFC Championship form!

Amazing how the Steelers start to look like the same old Big Game Bill Cowher Steelers when they are favored.

Throw the Red Flag Holmgren. That was a bad spot.

Randle El is hurt. THat looked....ouch.

seahawks really missing chances here.might hurt them really bad.

Good thing for the injury. They'll be plenty of time to see that replay with the ball on the turf before Randall-El hit the ground.

Or will the refs argue that the top of the helmet equals one knee. LOL.

I thought the SB was going to be the best ref crew; WTHeck?. Other than the one excellent over-rule / non-call these guys calls have blown most of the night so far.
