Quoting patchick here:

Welcome to the old favorite PatsFans draft contest, the simplest way to make draft predictions. Forget worrying whether that OG is "realistic" in the 6th round, or whether the Texans need help at strong safety.

The round and order doesn't matter. You can mock out 7 rounds if you like, or just name your 8 favorite cornerbacks. But no matter how you choose, you're likely to find that it's not nearly as easy as it sounds. Any score above 1 is worth bragging about.

Post your entries here!

So, here's the rules:

The Patriots have 11 picks.
Pick 11 players.

OK, so now three points of clarification. First, please give first and last name and schools.

Second, you can change your mind, but only your last entry counts.

Third, in case there's a tie, there will be exactly two tiebreakers: (1) the match closest to the end of the draft wins (i.e., predicting a seventh-round pick beats predicting a sixth-round pick); (2) if there's still a tie, earliest entry wins.

NOTE: As an unofficial extension of the contest, if you want to do so, go ahead and name a "second team" of 11 players. [Frankly, I want to see if any of us can do significantly better with 22 picks than with 11. :)]

Box, that's scary. My first draft has 9 of your 11. Guess I'd better do some editing. :p

TE C***** B***** Cincinnati

I wonder if alluding to these two words counts as worthy of infraction. Hmmm... :banned:

Just one thing- do you think that he might actually go above 23?

I've thought it a possibility, but I am assured by those more logical and sane than I that I'm merely being emotional. :p

Hello and how are you? You need to turn on your private messenger feature so that you can participate in the draft game. Send me a PM to let me know you received this message.

Defending my shared title from last year (a whopping 2 correct - Mayo/O'Connell)...

OLB Michael Johnson Georgia Tech
S Sean Smith Utah
OG Andy Levitre Oregon St
OT Gerald Cadogan Penn St
DE Dorell Scott Clemson
DE Kyle Moore Southern Cal
WR Brandon Tate North Carolina
CB Joe Burnett Central Florida
ILB Robert Francois Boston College
QB Chase Patton Missouri
RB Marcus Thigpen Indiana

Plus the Pats get Carolina's 1st round pick in 2010. Interesting that almost half my picks didn't play the position in 2008 that I've listed for them.

A quick change to my list Clay Matthews OUT and Casillas is in. I don't no anything about Casillas really but I cannot see us taking Matthews
