In anticipation of James Bond's hallowed return to the silver screen, I'm hoping to share some banter with fellow Bond fanatics, particularly our members hailing from Bond's homeland, England. Early reviews are extremely enthusiastic over Daniel Craig's performance, some calling him the best Bond since Sean Connery. I thought he'd flop as he doesn't look the part, but apparently he pulled it off in spades. I'm hoping to catch the movie this weekend and will post my thoughts. Meanwhile, any fellow Bondites among you, please chime in!

As long as they had the new guy watch every Roger Moore one after saying

    "DON'T ACT LIKE THIS GUY!!!!"

    It should be fine:D

To me, Moore was the worst of the bunch. Not athletic enough and too much of a cartoon character.

The critics got this one right - probably the best Bond movie and probably the best Bond actor ever.

Saw it last night and was blown away. What a cool movie, a throwback to the old original Bond films with plenty of mystery and intrigue. Craig surprised me, he's quite an athlete. I'm looking forward to his next performance and apparently the next installment will be out in another year and a half or so. That very last scene was a classic.

Question for all you Brits: what did you think?

Possible spoiler. But only for the purist. It really gives nothing away.

I wasn't blown away by the movie at all. I like how they didn't get too bogged down in gadgets and I think Daniel Craig and Eva Green were both excellent casting. Although I don't find British accents sexy she somehow overcomes that. I thought it was too long however. It would have been fine if they could come up with some twists but, the second he gives his resignation you know what is going to happen in the rest of the movie. I guess with all the praise this flick has been getting I just expected better writing. I'd like to say more but, then I really would be getting into spoilers so I leave it at that.

Wow, I thought the writing is what made this film so good. Sure, you knew his resignation wouldn't last, but it was an essential point of the story in showing how Bond evolved into "Bond." Check out the reviews at rottentomatoes.com. A whopping 95 percent of the nation's best-read film critics gave it a positive review.

That movie was soooooooooooo TIGHT! Best Bond for sure. Daniel Craig is a bad-ass Bond! The action in the movie was excellent!
