Re: Officail 2008 Free Agency Thread

WR Kelley Washington and the Patriots have agreed to terms on an undisclosed contract tonight, according to a league source.
Agreeing on a new deal was a top priority for Washington, who enjoyed his first season with the Patriots after spending the first four years of his career with the Bengals.
Washington didn't see much playing time on offense -- he played in only 37 snaps all season -- but was a consistent presence on special teams. Coach Bill Belichick often said that Washington could be counted on at receiver if called upon, but Washington seemed to be a victim of the team's depth at that spot.

I want a link to confirm now we need Gaff, moss, law and pace and I'm happy until the draft.

But is the contract signed and who is the league source?

Re: Officail 2008 Free Agency Thread

Today has been the best day since that day when some team whose name escapes me at the moment won the Super Bowl. :)

Re: Officail 2008 Free Agency Thread

Reiss is friggin awesome. From Metro-Daily West to being so popular his site won't open on a major news provider.

Re: Officail 2008 Free Agency Thread

That's good to hear come on pace, moss law and Gaff join the party.

Re: Officail 2008 Free Agency Thread

Worried about Moss was hoping to hear something already.

Re: Officail 2008 Free Agency Thread

don't lose sleep over it we resign him great, if not that's just more we'll reload on defense.
I don't want 1 guy crippling our cap, but if he signs for around 8 million per season that is fair.

Re: Officail 2008 Free Agency Thread

Per Clayton via rotoworld the Pats do not have a deal in place with Moss. Ew.

Re: Officail 2008 Free Agency Thread

As free agency began Friday at 12:00 AM ET, the Patriots had no deal in place with Randy Moss, according to ESPN's John Clayton.
The 6'4 wideout with 4.3 speed and a 40'' vertical who scored 23 TDs last season is officially open to the highest bidder. The Patriots shouldn't be out of the picture, but the 31-year-old may as well look around. Feb. 29 - 12:08 am et
