We're starting back up!

I'll be back around 12:30 - hopefully I return home learning of some great Pats picks!

Already an interesting pick of the Niners to go with the slightly ticked-off QB/HB Michael Robinson from Penn State. My hunch is he'll have a chance to show what he can do in the Land of Alex Smith before his Matt Jones transformation.

1. Dee Webb CB Florida
2. Pat Watkins FS Florida State
3. Babatunde Oshinowo NT Stanford
4. Tim Dobbins LB Iowa State
5. Charles Gordon CB Kansas

Bing is off the board. This is my list for our next pick.

And there goes Bing, a seeming fave of some on this board. Oakland making a solid effort to upgrade their secondary.

And the Jets grab *another* QB.

Moving very quickly today.

Looks like an early run on safties. I wonder how long Watkins lasts.

Oshinowo is my pick!

Pat Watkins is my pick if we look at a Safety, if its a CB, Charles Gordon

I assume you mean Pat, not Todd? He would be an interesting pick.

M Anderson would be good too

Bills took Simpson. Looks like they have their safeties for the next 5 years.

hes the replacement for Vincent in a year..not bad but bills are still stupid!

Yeah, Pat Watkins from Florida State. He's been on my list for awhile.

Of course, there goes another TE.

Garrett Mills TE Tulsa is the pick

Why do we need ANOTHER tight end? One in the third round is okay with me, but we don't need another one!

Not only were better players available, but better players at positions of bigger need were available. I just don't get this one.

How bizarre. Maybe they hope to convert him to a fullback? Reports say he's great in the passing game.

Let's see what they do with the next pick, in about 5 minutes...

Jason Avant is off the board. He was a mid-round favorite of many around here. I think we've addressed the passing game sufficiently now, though, if someone has good value later on, we gotta take him.

I think they are gonna play him as a big WR or a FB...I trust their judgement in what they have planned for him...Pro Football Weekly says he's ultra-productive ( 9 100yd receiving games for a TE...they go on to say if he were 3 inches taller and 20 lbs heavier he'd be a 1st round cinch...

Williams would never have been chosen by NE, so he's no great loss.

Miami product draws comparisons to a brick, in every way.
