The Obama "script", at present is as follows:

    Seal the deal.

Given that (like all right-thinking Americans,) I want Obama elected, this is my personal reminder to each of us who prefer Obama in this election. How do you lose a lead of this size on election day?

    Well, apathy, for one.

So, for those of use who've been on here bickering on the Obama side for a while, or who just feel Obama is the better choice, please make sure you do your part and get to the polls... I'll certainly post something like this again as we get closer to the day.

    And tell your friends.

If we leave it up to somebody else, we get stuck with... well, you don't want to think about it.

I'll have my vote in by 7:30 AM.

What sucks is I tried to tell everyone I knew that it was time to get 'this' bum out in 2004, it worked to an extent, Kerry did win MA after all; but of course what happened, happened.

I really have to wonder if McCain might not emerge as the guy I really, really liked 10 years ago. Is he doing what it takes to get elected or has he really changed?

I can't speak for McCain; he does not strike me as significantly different from the core of the GOP on policy. When he does differ from them, he seems dead set on coming up with a gimmick, something meant to capture momentary attention... but I am sure that looks much different to a McCain fan.

:) As for getting rid of the current bums... well, I'm one of the guys turning Virginia blue on the ol' electoral map. That sort of feels good. But still, Mass guys, I know how astronomically unlikely it is that McCain wins Mass... but I'd make dabnab sure up there too, if I were you.

(Oh and if you're a McCain guy... just get some more sleep. It's okay, really.)

    ;)
