Obama promotes clean energy, stimulus in Nevada - Yahoo! News

We lost more jobs than Obama actually saves. If it doesn't improve, there won't be any job left for him to SAVE.

It's the best thing that Obama can do for us at this moment. Jesus Christ!

Here was a former economic "stimulus" success story toted by Obama:

Saved by stimulus, now facing layoff

25 new police officers, in Columbus, OH. They are already facing layoffs. This is Obamanomics, folks.

    1. As noted above, the economic collapse was well in gear and he's in a clean-up project.

    2. Obama said over and over again he'd "save or create" 2.5 million or 3 million jobs (I forget which). We were well past that number of jobs "in the hole" the day he started. So you can make the same argument so long as there has been an aggregate job loss since January 2009. This would be the case no matter who we elected.

    3. The financial fustercluck was the leading indicator of real economy losses. If an auto company goes down in a vacuum, whoever owns stock in that company, its suppliers, etc., would suffer paper losses (as well as the real losses to those who work for said company.) If a financial crisis freezes credit, entire sectors are immediately walked to the brink. They either survive or go over the brink subsequently. On the way to going over the edge, those companies lay off employees. When they reach the brink more people lose their jobs. Ergo, the finacial sector crisis came first, followed by the continuing bloodletting in employment numbers.

    4. When a guy takes the reins in January and you evaluate him about 4 months (5 is a pure example of "time inflation," so everybody check your bloody math) as a failure, you're jumping the gun a tad. How much stimulus money has actually even hit the economy? Don't answer that with a guess. If you have a credible source, something connected to reality and not a tinfoil helmet web site, feel free.

    5. There ain't no good news. At some point, however, job losses will level off and reverse, or the game may be over (the unlikely tail scenario). More to the point, if 3 million jobs have been created or saved, and 30 million have been lost, you still haven't lost 33 million. Cope.

While this point may be correct, I can't help but notice that this poster always signs his posts with a made up nickname, which when done constantly on an anonymous site with usernames, suggest a rather self-absorbed, pompous psyche.

    And the shrilling continues...

And how many of those 1.3 million jobs can be blamed on Obama's policies, and how many on the prior administration? Change doesn't happen overnight. How can you be so sure that those 150K jobs would be around without Obama's policies?

It says right in the quote you included: "The country has lost 1.3 million jobs since February, a figure the Obama administration says would have been far higher if not for the recovery effort." You don't even bother to dispute the part that I highlighted.

You are a fraud. This is all about your hatred of Obama. I question your patriotism.
