He did not mention or credit Deval Patrick when he gave this speech.

Total plagiarism, but I am sure that the Deval loving media will sweep
    this under the carpet.

Just because Deval gave him a pass after the fact, does not mean it was not plagiarism. When Ron Borges stole Mike Sando's article, it was from a message board used by the media to share information.

He would have no problems gave attribution, passages.

In 1988 a Michael Dukakis attach video drove Joe Biden from the presidential race for plagiarism.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/clinton/frenzy/biden.htm

Democratic presidential candidate Joseph R. Biden Jr., a U.S. senator from Delaware, was driven from the nomination battle after delivering, without attribution, passages from a speech by British Labor party leader Neil Kinnock. A barrage of subsidiary revelations by the press also contributed to Biden's withdrawal: a serious plagiarism incident involving Biden during his law school years; the senator's boastful exaggerations of his academic record at a New Hampshire campaign event; and the discovery of other quotations in Biden's speeches pilfered from past Democratic politicians.

The controversy became two frenzies in one when it was disclosed that the campaign of Massachusetts Gov. Michael S. Dukakis had earlier secretly distributed to several news media outlets an "attack video" juxtaposing the Biden and Kinnock speeches and revealing Biden's word theft. The Dukakis campaign at first stonewalled and denied any part in the tape's distribution, but when the truth emerged Dukakis was forced to fire his campaign manager, John Sasso, and political director, Paul Tully – the two who had orchestrated the maneuver. Dukakis himself insisted he had no prior knowledge of their actions, and though wounded, his candidacy survived the incident.

    Ya know what.

I don't think Deval wrote that speech either.

I'm pretty sure I heard something about having a dream or something before.

Who cares if one speech of useless fluff is stolen from another speech of useless fluff?

The idea that a possible Presidential candidate is sharing ideas with Shady Deval has me worried.

Cadlilac Deval Patrick is as shady as they get !

That bothers me, too. I can't stand Patrick...yet another carpet-bagger governor. Why do my people keep voting in these users? Clearly Patrick is setting up for a higher office. WTF!... My horse is barely staying in the race, so I have to pick someone soon. I think I'll sit this out and hold my nose while I vote in Nov.

Obama needs to make some plain, clear points about his policies. I don't know what he'd be like as a president because he won't tell me. It's like a big secret, covered by obscure language and vague ideas, and that bothers me a lot. McCain is a whore who will have Obama killed the night of the election if the numbers aren't working. Clinton...OMFG!

People should be scared when Obama shares thoughts and ideas with
    Deval Patrick.

How different are Deval Patrick & Barack Obama?

    There campaings are quite similar.

Deval ran on Hope & Won.
He never explained the details of his hope, he just ran on hope and won.

    Obama is running on change.
He has yet to expain the details of his change, he is just running on change.

I will say, Obama is not as smug as our shady Deval !
If he is, he does a good job in hiding it !
