That is so weak on his part ...

I want to hear the Belichick answer ...

I need to be a better President, I need to work better with Congress and the Senate blah - blah - blah. The man is a pantywaist he needs to accept his position not just live the glory of it.

To me, and others I'm sure, this is debatable.

Not defending what the economy has been the last 4 years or the job Obama has done, but do you really think it was going to take one term to undo what Bush masacred?

IMO I don't blame him ...the world economy is a mess but I would like it better if he at least took responsibility even if he didn't need to. I would rather hear we need to do better rather than we're trying.

based on his actions, it would not get fixed in the next 4 years......hell, we're heading for another recession.....if obama is reelected, its 4 more years of dragging along the bottom like an anchor

If you can tryuly sit here and state that Bush made the economy "better", God so help you son.

You may be right Illegal, like I said, I wasn't neccessarily defending the current incumbent's and it may be headed in a worse direction, not doubting that but my point was stated.

Thats all. Bush destroyed this economy, he got 8 years, anyone should.

I will retract my statement and say that he certainly didn't help it much. There are other factors as to what happened but I believe he played a role in damaging it as well.

Throw in a crusade based on lies, that caused many deaths of american personnel along with the slaughtering of innocents.. not to mention 6 trillion of unfunded liabilities..

How is an incomplete a fail? Are we really to believe that McCain-Palin would have had the economy in any better shape at present?

Now, of course, according to PF13 and most of the conservative posters here the unemployment figures are lies and the actual number is always much greater so a figure of 900,000 should certainly be acceptable as the total number of unemployed when you factor in the people no longer looking for work or working part time. (Isn't that the way the story goes, 13?)

I think an "incomplete" was exactly the smartest and best answer he could have given.

Recovery is a work in progress and it's been progressing slowly but steadily.

Good attempt to dodge your "900K" accusation.

Furthermore, this chart shows what we already know, show me one place on this chart where there was a "decrease" in the national debt?

Did we lose 900K jobs in Jan 2009? Are we 16 trillion dollars in debt? Yes or No

I thought Mrs.PatsFanInVa just supplied you with a link showing that the number was more like, 598,000?

And yes, we are 16 trillion dollars in debt but this is an accumulation from many terms my friend, you are dodging the truth.

So was overstating the lost jobs in Jan by 302K a mispeak or a lie?

There was a credible link supplied that presented you with the exact number of jobs lost in Jan of 09', yet you continue to state that there were somehow, 900K jobs lost.

Your beginning to sound like Ryan himself. Making numbers and values up in order to beef up your points being made to the audience, that usually doesn't work when we have resources to confirm these accusations and statements.
