The Deficit Reduction Commission - WSJ.com
Well, I'm fine with it. Just as long as he's desperately seeking cover and not desperately seeking Susan.
You are happy that he increases middle class taxes?
You don't mind to pay more taxes?
Just as long as it isn't Susan that he's desperately seeking.
If he breaks his promise and raises taxes on those earning less than $250K, he will not be re-elected.
It's that simple.....
America does not and never has had a revenue problem. We have a SPENDING problem.
It's that simple...
Is it OK if he seeks Mr Steven instead of Ms Susan?:singing::singing:
I admire Obama's determination to break every single promise he made on the campaign trail ...
I think when the Democrats pass health insurance reform, the Republicans will try to label it as a tax increase, but other than that I don't think Obama will raise taxes on those earning under $250k. He will raise taxes on those earning over $250K, and I don't think most Americans will care that much. The Deficit Reduction Commission is bipartisan, and I think bipartisan agreement for a tax increase is quite unlikely, but perhaps you don't trust Republicans, as well as Democrats, on this issue.
Read my lips.....
...history has a way of repeating itself.
It's fairly clear to me that the $250K number will come down but that some number under that ($100K or whatever) won't have increased taxes now that obama is trying to be a populist.
Now that he's taken more power to regulate health insurance increases (this has to be an unconstitutional power grab doesn't it ?), we will be getting decreased coverage as a way for insurance companies to stay afloat and profitable with The Dictator not allowing needed rate increases.
Which is different than the fact that we've been getting decreased coverage as well as rate increases all along.
It'll only get worse when the anti business prez doesn't allow insurance companies to increase premiums appropriately. The problems we have in this area go far beyond the simplistic "nasty profit" thinking the obamans have.
President Obama and Health Care - WSJ.com
Please correct me if i'm wrong. The way Obama taxes people with the 250k income formula is your bank accounts + rents+ paycheck + investment accounts + whatever = 250k = YOU ARE TAXED.
If he uses this formular, you are screwed because you will have exactly 250k after he adds all your earnings and payings together.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't all of those things always been considered income? And is there any reason they should not be considered income?
I always thought "income" meant money coming in. And that's exactly what all of those things do. Why should they NOT be added up?
If he adds yours up and it comes out as 250k, you are taxed according to his tax 'policy'.
What the frig is a formular ...
Formulay, Formulee, Formulo, Formular .... sounds like lingual exercise.
If that's how much I make than yeah, that's how much I ought to get taxed on. That's what happens now, isn't it? All those things equal my income and I pay taxes on it no matter who "adds it up."
There you have it. It's official now. Obama supporters and voters can admit that Obama officially raises taxes on middle class.
