    Transparency my [IMG].

Meet the new guy, same as the old guy. Please don't try to tell me he isn't a typical politician. There's nothing wrong with that mind you, and I'm not hating on him. I just like to point this out to some of the koolaid drinkers.

Taking Bush's position, administration denies msnbc.com request for logs

The Obama administration is fighting to block access to names of visitors to the White House, taking up the Bush administration argument that a president doesn't have to reveal who comes calling to influence policy decisions.

Despite President Barack Obama's pledge to introduce a new era of transparency to Washington, and despite two rulings by a federal judge that the records are public, the Secret Service has denied msnbc.com's request for the names of all White House visitors from Jan. 20 to the present. It also denied a narrower request by the nonpartisan watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, which sought logs of visits by executives of coal companies.

CREW says it will file a lawsuit Tuesday against the Department of Homeland Security, which oversees the Secret Service. (Updated: Here's a copy of CREW's complaint.)

Maybe the O-man's crew is afraid of what Olberman or Chris Matthews might do with those logs???

.............. nah. Once MSNBC gets the poop it'll be out in the open for EVERYBODY to see. That might be embarrassing.

He simply doesn't want people to know he's meeting with. That's transparency I guess.

Not sure why the Secret Service is hesitating, but they will ultimately loose this battle..

My sources tell me that Obomba is having secret meetings with Bush down in Crawford, Bush is "advising him" Jug Ears is teaching Bush how to play Basketball.

Liberals are all getting mad at the Prince Barack, they say he is even starting to look like Bush.......

I have to agree with you RW, O's the consumate politician. The problem is that once someone does it its easier to maintain or even increase the same type of behavior.
The Bush era case of denying vistor lists is being argued in court now. If the Bush loses Obama will have to turn over the lists i would assume.
