As you all know, There is a ballot challenge in Georgia. It is tomorrow at 9am. You can watch it here: Georgia Live Stream Video | Article II Super PAC

Here's the timeline from the superpac

Obama ballot challenge hearing / January 25, 2012 / Sonoran News

This made me laugh. He cant make it because he is to busy vacationing, playing golf, and campaigning.

Now, if there wasn't any standing in this case then it would of been dismissed and it is not.

You obviously have not been a student of politics very long, a local administrative judge has no authority to subpoena the president..

This is about his facetime, not the law...

Why don't you post some pictures of Orly and rub one off...

The Georgia AG feels differently and isn't happy that Obama's attorney isn't showing.

Do you understand anything about how the presidency works??? It is about presidential powers, Mahili is an administrative judge in Georgia. It does not make any difference if the Ga. AG is upset, he has no power over Obama.

Name any situation where a local judge has had any authority over a president?? There are none..

You obviously have never heard of executive privilege.. all this guy Mahili wants is face time..

Eisenhower, Nixon, Bush, Clinton have all exercised executive privilege.. it is what it is the power of the presidency.

If Obama committed a crime, then he'd have to answer to local authorities, wouldn't he?

Far-fetched....but let's say a POTUS committed murder...he/she shouldn't have any executive privilege and should be treated as an ordinary citizen.

Executive privilege doesn't mean a POTUS isn't accountable on a local level.

But on this issue, he probably is.

Much to the chagrin of many, World Net is reporting that he will be on the ballot... guess back to 50 to go...

Of course about a week or two ago, there were righties doing the happy dance about him possibly being thrown off the ballot, Orly Taitz is dressed in black over another failure by her and her cause.

Judge says Obama can be on Georgia ballot

If any court ever ruled Obama unfit to serve our country would melt down. Even if there ever was legal ground for any of it ... it could never become public at this point. In any case ... he may not be around next term anyways ... it will be the closest election we have ever seen in our lifetime IMO and I don't think it will matter who runs against him. It will be people voting for him and people voting against him.

OT: and people voting against the GOP nominee, particularly if it's Gingrich or especially Santorum (and even Paul, though to a far lesser extent, imo)

they could leave him off 10 state ballots and he will still be re-elected. The Republican Party has no direction and no leader.
