Re: Non season ticket holder question..

By some quirk, I've been to every Pats-Jacksonville game ever played in Foxboro save for the AFCCG in January of 1997. I will have to make that game just for posterity.

One. Either Atlanta, Baltimore, or Tennesse at home. I want to see Atlanta since I think it will be the more exciting game of the 3 but might not be able to make it for that one. So now begs the real question, which game will be more exciting to watch...Baltimore or Tennesse?

I'll be at two. I've vowed never again to make the drive during December after spending hours watching cars flip out by the roadside in December '07.

Over the past few years, being in college and now law school, I try to get tickets to the last regular season home game, so that the semester is over. So this year, it looks like I'll be at the Jags game.

A home game would be nice, have never seen Brady play.

Have to figure out how to score tickets without losing my left arm....

Pay $100 to get on the season tix wait list.
Then you can buy gameday tix at FACE VALUE from the Pats website.

There are several notable long time Pats fans who gave up their nosebleed STs and instead buy their better view tickets every week from the Patriots ST exchange each gameday.

So how does that work exactly? If you are on the waiting list they let you buy tickets to any game before the general public can? Isn't there a certain day when all the remaining seats go on sale on ticketmaster or something?

Im looking at my best option for getting good seats for 4 people to one game this year.

    No
ST holders who cannot go to a game can if they wish sell their tix thru the Pats site at face value. What is available and when its available varies. Obviously, pre season tix are plentiful :)

I'll be going to the ATL game only. I prefer the 1PM games since you can get home at a reasonable time and it's easier to get a large group to go when it's warmer weather (i.e. September).

EDIT: Speaking of tix....have they announced the date when individual tix go on sale?

Just found out...got tix from my ST holder friend to the Atlanter game and to the JESTS debacle. I just don't want 40,000 besotted BC fans at the Atlanta game.

Jsut so you know, this is year 10 since I got on the waiting list. Back then it was $25 deposit per seat. I wanted 3... for my wife, my daughter who was 10 at the time and me. LOL, now my daughter's 20 and no longer living at home.

I'm also on Year 10 for three seats and Year 9 for two. Not sure what will happen if I actually get the "congratulations" letter as 2 of the 5 the seats were intended for friends that have moved away.
However I have taken advantage of the Patriots Exchange and the waiting list pre-sale and for the most part have had my choice of seats and have been fortunate to sit 2 rows from the field to all the way in the last row of the stadium for the Tennesse play-off game. Using these features have allowed myself and friends/family to not miss a game in several years other than when I have been away including the playoffs!

Is it $100 per seat to be on the list. And whats the availability of tickets using this vs buying them online at ticketmaster the second they go on sale to the general public?

I'll be going to one, which i have already bought my tickets for.

    The London game, can't wait.

I've also just put in a phone call to a company that does packages for NFL games with flights and hotels, waiting for them to get back to me with a price.

I do not have the specific facts which you can get from the Patriots but I'm fairly certain it's $100/seat to get on the waitlist. Waitlist people can participate in TicketExchange the Patriots' online resale of STs at face value to waitlist members. The details like how many you can buy as a waitperson, you need to contact the Patriots. They have phones.

The number available per game depends inversely on the popularity of the game. It varies.

I'm going to get to 2-3 games this year and the U2 concert- I was thinking I would stay at the new hotel that opens next month so I checked their rates - Goodness - They are $100+ higher than the normal rate per night when the Pats are in town and they are $300 higher than their normal rate for the U2 Concert.

Yikes, I guess it makes sense, but I'll just stay at my normal spot downtown.

As I recall some single game tickets have gone on sale to the general public through ticketmaster around the last Saturday of May the last couple of years - but they're all gone not within a matter of minutes, but within a matter of seconds.

In other words that's just something else to watch out for and give it a try, but don't get your hopes up since there will be so many other people doing the same thing.
