It is a very sad day to be a nfl fan, the greatest sport known to mankind, is almost over as we know it... I dont understand it, and cant see why the greed has ruined a great sport... Read Espn.com, and the Q and A section tells the truth and what the NFL faces...

I still don't quite understand - can't they go back and negotiate at any time? So, they miss the deadline - can't both sides as some point say: well, lets rethink this.....lets talk.....????

its just complicated with contracts and signing bonus, they just needed to get it done sooner rather than later....
