Okay, stipulated, it's an incredibly bogus show, because half the votes are "respect" votes for a name and a body of work, and it's only the other half that's for recent play and likely performance in '12. Seyton Manning is still in the top 50 even though he still can't make all the throws.
That said...
4 Patriots from #100 through #21... the bad news is Gronk and Welker are both in the 20s, and I don't think they'll put another one up other than Brady. So, not much upside, landing us at 5 out of the top 100. Slightly less than the 3 or so that random chance would suggest. And if you go by a Top 25 theory, where you'd predict 1 per team (if that team is among the top 3/4 of the league,) we'll have 3 players in that elite batch.
It's the off-season. In the off-season, this makes me feel good.
Hell, think about a JEST fan getting this news... that would be a super bowl lock.
I bet there's already a thread somewhere but didn't see it... if so, please just merge.
