This is a list of investigations in the NFL that i am waiting for. They haven't happened yet, but should:

1.) Carolina Panthers roid monkey Defense against the Pats in the Superbowl.

2.) The piped in noise in the RCA Dome.

3.) The biased officiating in important Colts home games.

4.) The Jets taping the Pats without permission, and lying about it.

if you can think of any to add, go ahead.

5. The Miami Dolphins "cheating" against the pats last season.

Re: NFL Investigations that I'm still waiting for.........

Jimmy Johnson admitting the Dolphins knew how to bypass the 15 second cutoff of the Coach-to-Quarterback Communication System.

Nevermind, I like Jimmy Johnson. They don't need to investigate that. :)

The Titans / Colts thing this year.
Some kind of pre-game "understanding" if i recall.

Excellent addition. I have never ever seen a coach happy that a divisional rival made it to the playoffs.

The fans and network paid good money to attend and broadcast that pathetic excuse for a football game.

The Colts should be ashamed.

yeah that was disgusting.

Kerry Collins ( i think it was him ) even admitted to it afterwards.

how can they ignore that?

Jeez, if i didn't love this sport so much, i would have stopped watching already.

Everyone at the game should ask for a refund and sue the Colts.

Actually, I want to sue them. I actually spent 3 hours watching that scripted nonsense.

Seriously.
We keep hearing about "The integrity of the game".
If this is not a clear example of jeopardizing the integrity of the game, than I don't know what is.

According to Sando there are MANY teams that do this...NOT the Pats...

Re: NFL Investigations that I'm still waiting for.........

Aren't all Colts home games important?

i was waiting for someone to pick this apart and complain about that.

You know exactly what i mean. And although i appreciate you being difficult (since i am most of the time), i think you can contribute to this thread a lot better than that.

I'm still waiting for the investigation following this 1967 article that documents NFL Spying practices from 1955 and on.

http://www.thesportgallery.com/sport-stories/1967aug-nflspy.html

Signal stealing, filming of walk throughs, trying to hide injured players...

By ignoring this and all the other instances that have been reported above, Goodell, Specter and everyone else are making it perfectly clear they have no problem with OTHER teams cheating - its simply a witch hunt aimed at the Patriots

I am insinuating they get calls in every game.

I do appreciate you believing in me and raising the bar of expectations. I will work hard to achieve that standard. Very Belichickian.

What about Don Shula's actions in the infamous Mud Bowl?

http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/f...sary_of_mud_bowl_jets_v.html?print=1&page=all

To this day, former coach Walt Michaels still believes Don Shula ordered the field to remain uncovered during heavy rains in the days leading up to the '82 title game. The sloppy field neutralized the Jets' superior team speed, and they couldn't muster any offense in the 14-0 loss, a debacle that will be remembered for Richard Todd's five interceptions.

"There were some things that went on," Michaels recalled, referring to the alleged shenanigans by Shula. "The league rule is to cover the field, and it wasn't. What else has to be said?

"I laugh at it now," he continued. "It's a good thing (Roger) Goodell wasn't the commissioner then or he would've fined Shula."

This was Spygate, a quarter-century earlier.

How 'bout the Jets' filming in the SAME game that the Pats got caught?
That was like an "Emmily Latella" moment for some. It really gets me how those pics were going all over the net.

"See, here's proof that the Pats were filming..........what's that? That's a Jets
camera man?.....oh...Never mind."

He's obviously breaking the same rule. There's clearly pictures of it.
And nobody cares. What's up with that?

I want an investigation into the stupidity of ESPN analysts.
I'm looking right at you, Tom Jackson, Merril Hoge, Mark Schlereth, & Steve Young.

that story is a year old...so what became of it?

Good question. Seems like it got buried. The guy doesn't seem all that different than a Brian McNamee and notice, he was with them when the won the SB two years ago.
