Below is a link on the average starting defensive lineman weight by team. Its chronology is by weight.

Of course, one can question the datas' accuracy, but I thought it interesting. Some of the notables:

Jets - #1 heaviest
Pats - #16 heaviest (right in the middle)
Seahawks - #27
49ers - #25
Broncos - #15

Teams range from 262 to 285, but most teams are at 270 +/-5 (22 teams). Nothing earthshattering, but it's of consideration for our distribution of run versus pass against different teams. It's also of consideration because nothing is happening right now.

Not necessarily. The 49ers employ the 3-4 as their base defense. I have to wonder how much sub-packages and different alignments are being figured in here.
 
Means are not good measures of central tendency if the distribution is skewed.

So the Green Beans have a bunch of lard-asses at DL. It would be interesting to see other ratings based on strength, speed, etc.
