Dick Cheney just shot someone while "bird-hunting". Apparently he was aiming at a stool-pigeon.
Wow, that's for real!
Knowing what Cheney is like, I assume it was attempted murder, but will there be an investigation?
Not a good weekend for Dick.
Great news for the "Haters", now if we could only get some bad news out of Iraq.
Damn! I had my hopes as to who it was...
You don't have to look to hard for that.
Another "Blow" to the right. He shot a guy who's 78. No medi-care for you, you old bastard!
This is how the right makes "budget cuts".
You go, Cheney my man!!!
Was the guy he shot a Democrat?
At least he didn't drown the guy and then go home to bed (Mary Jo)
Note to Patrick Fitzgerald:
NO HUNTING TRIPS WITH CHENEY !
What a friggin IDIOT poser Cheney is. The Vice President of the US shoots a guy hunting. That's total embarassment for ANYONE hunting. Another "accidental" miscalculation. WHo was the hunting guide, the CIA?
Now that was funny!
Only you would cheer for a guy who just shot a 78-yr old. That puts you into the piece of crap catagory.
Think of the budget savings on social security and medicare.
It's not like the ol' geezer had a long future ahead of him.
I have thought of that, and it leads me to conclude your a sick and twisted idividual.
To hell with everyone, right PWP. Unless you get sick. Then it will be a different story.
"The Gang that Couldn't Shoot Straight", starring Dick Cheney as "The Killer", Don Rumsfeld as the "dopey sidekick", Karl Rove as "The Ringleader", and introducing "Georgie the Chimp" as the monkey boy.
In theaters Friday, Rated X
Apparently he was Quayle hunting. To bad Dan was in Syria with his buddy David Duke. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.
It wasn't a guy. It was a lawyer.
Wait a sec... I got a kid in law school...
So when it happens to Vince Vaughn in Wedding Crashers it's funny, but when Dick Cheney is responsible all of a sudden its a crime against humanity? Talk about another liberal double standard!
Should I bother explaining to you the difference between the real world and entertainment, or are you like the most of the right-wing who can't tell the difference between what's real and what's fiction?
Dick Cheney's crimes-Real
Vince Vaughn's crimes-Not Real
Do you understand the difference?
I was being facetious. Apparently you are humorless. Personally, as much as I like them, I think our VP and our President are both pretty funny.
I think they would be hilarious if my IQ was under 75. The fact that you "like" them is pretty funny to me. It's like saying, "Yeah, I like the guy, even though he screws me every chance he gets".
The jokes on you, fool.
Ask yourself this: Would you rather risk hunting with Dick Cheney or riding in a car with Ted Kennedy? Which has a higher fatality rate?
I could drink Kennedy under the table!! Yeah right. No way could I come close to the fried chickenhawk dinner that fat boy Dick "Da #1 Prick" Cheney could engorge though. I would lose that one for sure. His tickers not stuffed like a turducken for nothin' you know.
Now rumor has it that Cheneys company Halliburton/KBR poisoned some troops in Iraq with tainted water. Does that count?
In the words of the great Charlie Daniels: watch out cuz Cheneys a "fairly dangerous man".
I think calling me a fool is against the rules of this discussion board. As usual, the bitterness and bile of the left comes through -- not to mention the disregard for the rules and the double standards that exist when it comes to enforcing them.
In any case, I think that the people trying to make this Cheney thing into a real story are the ones that are acting foolish. It's not like he was using buckshot. If you ask someone who's been hit with birdshot what it was like, the most typical response you'll get is "it stings like hell."
**** happens. This is pretty harmless. There's no reason to make a federal case out of it.
That is true. As far as the overall scandals, cover-ups, and incompetancies go...this is minor. What is significant however is the administrations spin of the situation. Whittington got in the way. It wasn't really a dangerous wound. etc etc. This administration only came forward with the admission after they had their spun story all in line, roughly two days. That is kind of telling. Everything is funnelled through a very coordinated media-propaganda-spin outlet.
The foolish thing is that Cheney apparently doesn't know the basics of hunter safety.
This is exactly why I never liked huntin'. At lest he didn't shoot him round the ole campfire, I can't tell you how many stories about guys getting shot hunting, start with the phrase, "After we had a few beers....:
But can you just see the jokes..
"Shakespeare told me to do it"
"It's not really a crime if you shoot a lawyer, is it?"
The national media is having a twit over this, because they reported it to the local media first!
Ask Alexander Hamilton what he thinks about the aim of Vice Presidents!
come to think of it, wasn't he a lawyer too?
BTW Burr was indicted, but never prosecuted.
The NY Times, CNN, CBS and the rest of the Liberal Coo-Coo Hate Filled world would like nothing better than to to see this guy that Cheney shot "DIE".
A lonely little pitiful voice came weakly from the air bubble as the car slowly sank to the bottom of the river, it said, "come back Teddy, plese come back, I can't breath" "Help Me Teddy", then, silence, blub, blub, blub.
Actually, the whole Aaron Burr duel is blown way out of proportion. It makes Hamiliton look like a victim. Hamilton was in a half dozen duels before Burr and even advised his son on duel strategy (which was shoot last).
Back to the evil one. Maybe if Cheney had fought in Vietnam he would know about using a gun. The White House handled the story as they are accustomed.
Come on PWP, think a little. The guy is probably a Republican voter and he could be a valuable commodity if he is registered in a marginal area. Still, if he lives in a safe Republican area and is going to bequeath to the Party, then I say: Richard, go to the hospital and finish off the job.
Separate names with a comma.
