... so he's flying there to investigate. Oh, and he's bringing along the Tipper and all his family, kids, grand-kids, nephews and nieces. Why?? 'Cause, if it's true, that's some great skiing down there!!!

    'The first day was awesome'
    Snow arrives early at Snowbird
Snowbird marks its second-earliest start in 38 years

Michael Plummer was looking forward to the ski season after sitting out all of last year because of a torn anterior cruciate ligament. But he didn't think it would come this early. Tuesday's snowstorm kicked off a five-day accumulation that has reached about 46 inches of snow, allowing Snowbird Ski Resort to open Friday, the second-earliest start in the resort's 38-year history. The resort didn't open until Nov. 28 last year.

"It feels fantastic to be out this early. I forgot how it felt to be out here," said Plummer, who was at the resort with his son and some friends. "It's pretty good skiing. There's some rocks showing through, but I'm not picky. I'm hoping this means a long and epic season." Seabury Davies of Park City pauses as he waits for his friends Sunday before getting on the Snowbird Ski Resort tram for another run of skiing. Since Friday, skiers and boarders at Snowbird have taken advantage of the resort's second-earliest start in its 38-year history.

Snowbird is the only resort open so far, giving skiers and snowboarders a head start on the season. Most resorts typically open after Thanksgiving.

I certainly hope we are not going to do this anecdotal weather thing all winter long.. a snow fall is not an indicator of anything except it snowed early.. last weekend it was in the mid 60's here, does that cancel the snowfall???

Well, the fact that last year was one of record low temps world-wide, and the fact that temps have on aggragate dropped over the past 20 years MUST be of some interest to anyone remotely scientific around here.

Sh-h-h, not so loud, HB. AlGore has a temper problem much worse than John McCain ever thought of having. Al was told from birth: "you're daddy's a rich and powerful Senator, and you're gonna be pre-sy-dent some day. Now, off you go to Harvard, boy."

    Whoops, how'd that turn out?!!

If Al Gore is flying over there to investigate, surely that means that ManBearPig is behind it...

It's not Global Warming anymore, it's Climate Change. This means that whatever happens, Algore can blame people.

2nd earliest snow in 38 years = climate change. See, those Nobel Prize winners are SMART.

Ain't life great when you win a Nobel!

Of course the temps have fallen in the last 10 years and the parts of the atmosphere that are supposed to be heating aren't according to the satallite data.

oh yeah hansen has messed up the tempature yet again, Is he stupid or just dishonest//

    OMFG! Not another MMGW debate!

Maybe God's punishing the polygamist azzhole Mormons for funding the anti-gay marriage bill in Cali.

What a surprise, Fogbuster doesn't know the most BASIC of facts, that climate change results in huge unusual variations both cold and warm in weather. It's not just about warming, it is about unusual climate changes in both directions as a result of melting icecaps which change the ocean currents.

This knowledge is as basic as knowing the dinosaurs died millions of years ago... OOPS Foggy doesn't know that either.

Once again Fog brings up another subject he is completely ignorant about. And his brain trust comes in to support him. They should watch The Day After Tomorrow not as good as actual research but is better than nothing.

And we had all this before man was created/evolved. Climate Change, the great catch all.

The Basic fact is that the climate is ALWAYS changing, and has both before domesticated primates forst appeared and will continue to change if we disappear. Algore's fantasies notwithstanding.

Well since Skiing tourism is a major industry in Utah and the most popular recreation for the locals (behind the oldest one of course). Perhaps God is telling the Mormons he is happy with them...:p

Folks out there will bwe thrilled at that big a snowfall in the Watsch range.

When did I ever say I didn't believe in dinosaurs living millions of years ago??? How about like: never. Whoops!! Shiit on YOUR FACE, smart-azz.

And, since you want to talk about "climate change", how 'bout we talk about the various ICE AGES, the times when the continents were all together as one, the many times the earth's temperatures have risen and fallen throughout history over billions of years. Oh, did I mention the ever-changing cycles of SUN-SPOTS, solar winds, the ENORMOUS effects these phenomena have on the earth's climate????

WHOOPS!!!! Don't wanna go there, do ya?? We understand. Could mean AlGore has to give back his precious Nobel and apologize for being the fraud and panic-inducer he is, and the "sky-is-falling" crowd would actually have to get REAL jobs for a change.

"The whole truth and nothing but the truth" is good. A little truth sprinkled in amongst lies, fabrications, and misconstrued data produces things like: Marxism, Darwinism, the "sexual revolution", and a culture of no standards to live by except one's own. Kinda like America today. Total chaos.

"The Day After Tomorrow" is nothing but hysterical junk science-based emotionalism. Like a good action movie that's full of "shiit science".
