Many of his routines are getting a little stale, but at least he never takes himself too seriously and is simply trying to entertain. Too many announcers have egos and agendas, plus Berman has always been a huge supporter of the Pats.

Merril Hodge, alien face Clayton and Irvin are and where the worst. Big time agenda against the pats.

Unpredictable? He says the same things over and over.

Berman couldn't handle Paul Posluszny? Some have him going to the Patriots, if he lasts that long. I keep wanting to put a K in his name, somewhere near the end. I like Berman too. He's unique.

I would agree there. I liked the way he would give the highlights of games on NFL Primetime. It sucks that that show isn't on anymore.

Berman's great. In the early days, he carried ESPN. And his early draft coverage with Kiper was also great.

My favorite Bermanisms are Curtis "My Favorite" Martin, and
Jake "Daylight Come and I Want to" Delhomme

Predictable sometimes but always funny and personable.

Me too. Every time he comes on screen I throw up a little in my mouth.

I prefer broadcasters who realize that their job is to give me information about sports, not beat me over the head with their unbelievably lame comedy schtick.
