The Celtics are on a rampage...the New England Revolution soccer team is set to face the Houston Dynamo in DC Sunday for the MLS championship. Must be a good time to be a fan in NE eh?

    Re: New England Revolution

Bob Kraft is at the game with Jonathon and Myra. They said that Kraft is part of the NFL's television committee and he was the reason the Bills game got bumped up to SNF. I thought it was the TV networks that decide this stuff.

Revs are up 1-0 at the half.

OT: Anyone watching the Revs in the MLS Cup?

Only 1pm game I get is Detriot/Lions, while a interesting NFC matchup, I could really care less about. Want Detroit to win and see NYG go into second half slump though.

Anyways I’m keeping on Foxboro’s own Revs to see them win their first championship. Bob Kraft needs to get his first championship of the year today. Not a huge soccer fan, hell don’t watch soccer at all but it’d be great to see Mass to continue their sports dominance with a championship here.

And from what I’ve researched, the Revs are like the Bills of the MLS in terms of championships, lets get it done this year! Revs up 1-0.

    Re: New England Revolution

Revs just went down 2-1. The thing I like about the TV coverage of this game is that they show abot 1/3 of the field almost all the time. The NFL should do that instead of just about 1/10th of the field or closeups of the QB while you have no idea what's going on on the rest of the field. NFL TV coverage sucks and until you go to a game in person you really have little idea what goes on each play.

Wow these guys look devastated on the field, good to see some athletes who actually really care about the game at least.

Poor Revs. :( Get 'em next year.

That was hard to watch. I don't really watch soccer unless it's the World Cup tournament, but damn, that's rough for the Revs.

Yup the Revs are the 90's Buffalo Bills of American Soccer...

Good thing there aren't any fans to be pissed about them choking. :D

I'd hate to have to care about soccer.

First BC, then the Revolution - can the Pats be far behind?

You've obviously never been to Boston or New England. College football is a very niche sport and the Revs aren't even on the sports radar.

Believe me, BC and the Revs losing does nothing to the Boston sports psyche.
