New England Patriots are the best team in the NFL

Yes, we're the best. However, I hope that our offense improves a lot before we face the steelers, and our defense improves a lot before we face the colts.

Against the Chargers and Vikings, the Patriots offense has not shot themselves in the foot. If the Patriots offense does not turnover the ball, the Patriots should be in every game the remainder of the season.

Amazing to think that the Pats are the best team in football. Nobody thought this of the Pats back in the summer, most people thought we were a 10-6 team at best. If we were to finish 10-6 I would be absolutely shocked. 11-5 is a bad record at this point.

I'll reserve judgement on the Colts until tomorrow night. I want to see how they play without Clark and Collie.

Meanwhile, the Patriots offense is without Kaczur, Mankins, Faulk, Taylor. In addition, Maroney and Moss have been "dispatched" this season.

And now the Pats are the only 1 loss team in the NFL.

Big Ben has played bad on the road two weeks in a row and they should be 4-3 but I digress. Either way, anyone who watched the Steelers play the last two weeks cannot say with a straight face that they are the best team in the NFL.

Same with the Jets. Sanchez's sloppy play has finally caught up to him the past two games (5 Int's the past two games). He should have thrown about 10, but got the lucky bounce through the first 5 games.

The Patriots and Giants are playing the best football in the NFL right now and that really isn't debatable. Its the NFL, things could change and most likely will, but right now those two teams are playing the best football.

If anybody told you back in the summer that this team would be without Leigh Bodden, Ty Warren, Logan Mankins, Kevin Faulk and Randy Moss, with 4 rookies starting and another 6 on the roster, what record would you have predicted?
