It looks better at least.

The logo is upside down. The dolphin should be lying on it's back, defeated, as usual...

Are you sure this isn't the new Dolphins logo. If not it should be.:D

Why in the world would they screw with with an established iconic logo?

I mean its still the only logo in the modern era to go undefeated in the SB era.
I guess thats why they are todays dolphins....stupid stupid. I'd be out of my mine pissed if I were a dolphins fan.

I still won't buy anything with the flying elvis on it. But at least I understand the dynamics involved for ownership to dump Pat Patriot.

You can change the logo but they'll always be fish

Is this the reason why that the Browns always suck? They should be in the design room all off season then.

And, now, LOLphins. :)

Buffalol, jest, $hitsburgh rapists, clots, donkeys, texicans, cowgirls, gints, the san francisco ninnies, seadoves, and fudgepackers.

Did I leave out anyone notable?

I guess its a generational thing. Having gone to my first Pats game in 1966 in Fenway Park ole Pat Patriot may have sucked but he was my Pat Patriot the team sucked because of ownership not the logo.
To me its a diservice to the many players that were great under Pat P. Steve Grogan,Mosi, Stanley Morgan Tippet etc. It wasn't their fault ownership pulled the rug out from under them everytime they were on the verge of greatness. Their 85 run to the SB was as thrilling as any outside of winning it.
To put more perspective on it the flying elvis was the SOLD relocation logo version of the Patriots.
And ole Pat Patriot was chosen from a Patriots fan contest.
Now you tell me what logo you want to represent the Pats.
Long live Pat Patriot.

I understand. I was around in 1985. And I do like the Pat the Patriot. But it is not tradition. The Pats tradition sucked from majority of the time under that logo. When ever I see that Helmet and red and white uniform I think of disappointment.

Eventually, they are going to have to redo flying elvis.

Why? He is really popular. I like him way better than Pat Patriot, and I'm betting a lot of other people do too.

And while Pat Patriot has its issues, at least it has character. Flying Elvis is your standard 1990s-2000s bland, bland corporate logo.
